Product Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support for existing products used in the Aerospace and Military markets, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products, organizing experiments, trials, testing, and data analysis.
- Contribute to Value Added Engineering (VAVE) activities, suggesting innovative solutions and implementing cost-reduction initiatives.
- Develop and implement design changes to reduce costs and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Support product and materials obsolescence, ensuring seamless product migration and minimizing disruptions.
- Lead continuous improvement activities to streamline product development processes.
- Work closely with Lead Engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers, and Operations to deliver new development projects on time and within budget.
- Run product development trials, integrating with the LEANPD process and PLM Central to ensure timely delivery.
- Collect and analyze key data for DFMEA, PFMEA, and Qualification, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain product specifications, quality test plans, and test reports.
- Transfer programs to Mexico Manufacturing facilities, ensuring smooth operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in providing detailed documentation and translating complex technical information into concise reports.
- Ability to understand and develop complex technical solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with product development from concept to industrialization, including VOC, DOE, FMEA, and FEA.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD applications.
- Advanced English language skills.
