Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and effective resolution to application-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Act as the first point of contact for application-related issues, owning and managing incidents through resolution, problem creation, and root cause analysis.
- Monitor incidents for trends and proactively recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Own and manage the application lifecycle, including patching, security updates, and functional testing.
- Collaborate with third-party software vendors to ensure seamless integration and compliance with Plexus policies.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system requirements and technical specifications.
- Manage and deliver moderate to high-complexity projects, applying advanced knowledge to identify and resolve core problems.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by properly specifying key controls and compliance requirements as part of the overall delivery of requirements.
- Stay current on Plexus business, industry, and IT technology trends to provide forward-looking solutions.
- Focus on continuous improvement, developing and adapting to enhancements and changes.
- Participate in and lead Functional User Groups and similar meetings to share common problems and solutions across multiple sites and regions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of related experience in computing systems or IT support.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform key job responsibilities.
- Action-oriented leadership skills.
- Ability to escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
