Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow the local search operation team
  • Responsible day-to-day management, the regional team strategy, and for driving the overall success of the team
  • Responsible for overall team delivery, through management of individual and overall team performance
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and develop high-performing team members
  • Lead the team to establish and maintain search strategy evaluation and related investigation criteria, provided professional suggestions for the optimization of evaluation criteria
  • Strengthen the team's understanding of Search Ops policies
  • Report, analyze, and provide insights on our quality process
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members
  • Lead the team to perform policy, process & strategy localization, BPO quality management, Quality assurance, RCA, data analysis & deep dives, making reports & policy recommendations and strengthening the team's understanding of Search Ops policies
  • Cooperate with internal stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams such as product, research & development teams to optimize search strategies and improve users' search experience
  • Being responsible for landing new projects and providing high-quality training to BPO sites

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience working on e-commerce or search operations in a major tech or media company
  • Knowledge about search engines, the best way to be addicted to TikTok, and familiarity with shopping apps like Amazon, Temu or other local apps
  • Recent and minimum 1-year experience as Team Lead/Content Manager/Technical Lead (Strong people management skills and currently managing large multicultural teams with diverse skills)
  • General knowledge of Search Engineering/Search engines and Search related strategies
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Possesses good interpersonal skills, demonstrates good judgment, training, and coaching skills
  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional partners, across different countries, ideally have experience with different European markets/region
  • Outstanding natural communicator (verbal/written) with excellent language and communication skills at full proficiency level in English
