About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading energy infrastructure company in North America. As a Senior Commercial Performance and Regulatory Executive, you will be responsible for providing advice to senior leaders on business risks to business unit assets in Mexico and their contractual impact.

You will also advise and coach business development and JV teams during negotiations with CFE on new contracts or systems expansion projects. Additionally, you will represent TC Energia before the Energy Regulatory Commission, generating a regulatory strategy that allows the continuity and optimization of asset operations in Mexico and the execution/in service of new projects.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the regulated natural gas pipeline industry, with a proven track record of leadership and management skills. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial relationship and customer service during the operational stage of assets in Mexico

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, actuary, business, or related field
  • Significant and proven commercial experience in the regulated natural gas pipeline industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the natural gas market in Mexico, and preferably international
  • Proven network relationships with key players in the energy market in Mexico
  • Demonstrated at least ten years of experience in previous leadership roles or equivalents
