Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to lead our Latam Payments Business Operations team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in payments, financial operations, and accounting, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence, financial controllership, and product innovation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Amazon's payment systems while ensuring operational excellence, financial accuracy, and customer satisfaction. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to meet key payments and finance metrics and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the team to improve key payments and finance metrics and SLAs
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party payment partners (internal and external)
  • Identify and implement process improvements in new offerings
  • Resolve escalations and lead improvement projects to enhance customer experience and internal processes
  • Partner with internal teams to support new payments products post-launch
  • Oversee financial controllership, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in payments, financial operations, and accounting
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Experience managing external relationships and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced SQL and Excel knowledge
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies
  • Experience in operational or customer-facing roles within financial services or e-commerce
  • Program management experience and ability to drive issues to completion

In exchange for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including: $140,000 - $180,000 per year (estimated). This figure is based on industry standards, location, and the level of experience required for the role.
