We are seeking a highly skilled Event Marketing Manager to join our team in CA/LATAM. As a key member of our Regional Enterprise Marketing team, you will be responsible for planning and executing Amazon Ads events in Canada and LATAM.
Key Responsibilities- Develop event strategies that align with team and business goals in collaboration with the CA/LATAM Enterprise Marketing Lead and country Marketing Managers.
- Define event goals and timelines, and communicate expectations to stakeholders.
- Influence and collaborate with key stakeholders in marketing and sales on event plans, including first (Amazon-owned), and third-party industry events.
- Own the end-to-end planning and execution of events, including budgeting, external vendor management, branding and creative, on-site logistics, communications, event tech, measurement, and reporting.
- Manage event production agencies and third-party vendors to ensure bar-raising execution.
- Build processes for repeatability and scalability of event activities.
- Think big to deliver new ideas and creative approaches to events that improve the customer experience.
- Deliver premium activations and raise the bar for concepts and production at events.
- Drive and deliver event activation and recap documents and contribute to cadenced business reporting and narratives.
The Regional Enterprise Marketing team at Amazon Ads partners with global marketing and regional business teams to deliver scaled brand initiatives that engage and delight our international enterprise customers.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Experience owning event program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
- Experience developing cross-functional relationships, which would include internal communications, public relations, and Pan-Amazon teams.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
- Proficiency in Portuguese will be an asset.
