Latin America Business Development Director

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Head to join our team in Latin America.
About the Role:The primary responsibility of this role is to drive business growth by identifying and nurturing new partnerships, managing a team of sales professionals, and executing a strategic plan to achieve organizational goals. You will lead market mapping and analysis to identify potential prospects, build relationships with key decision-makers, and develop a compelling value proposition that aligns with customer needs.
You will be responsible for tracking and reporting on deal progress, guaranteeing correct discipline, and promoting events to build and maintain networking. Additionally, you will share market trends, opportunities, and pain points with the Retail and Ecommerce industry team, collaborate with various departments to develop new business propositions, and manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report progress to senior management.
Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economy, Engineering, or related fields.
- Field of Study: Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or similar.
- Fluent Spanish, Fluent English, and Portuguese (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in business development in the retail and ecommerce industry.
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing commercial teams.
- Deep understanding of the Latin American markets, passionate about digital platforms, marketplaces, and their variations in business models.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with C-level executives, Investors, Fund Managers, Founders, Accelerators, Advisor.
- Experience in managing and closing several large complex deals worth millions of dollars.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
$150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
