To thrive as a Lead Cloud Engineer at Danfoss, you will be tasked with ensuring reliable, scalable, and adaptable solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the technical infrastructure of the cloud environment. By fostering a collaborative atmosphere, you will actively support and inspire the technical engineering team to drive significant technical advancements. Moreover, you will excel in transforming requests into actionable solutions by skillfully analyzing requirements and creatively addressing them, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

The responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Mentor, plan, and guide the contributions of the team.
  • Provide centralized cloud governance and consulting services to the organization.
  • Promote cloud adoption throughout the organization and institutionalize best practices from a technical perspective.
  • Offer technical consulting support to application architects to ensure alignment with overarching design principles.
  • Create infrastructure as code templates that facilitate automated deployment of cloud resources.
  • Document cloud environments and provide appropriate runbooks for the Cloud Operations teams.
  • Ensure the cloud service catalog is maintained with the latest technology stacks and features.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor and optimize performance with a focus on enhancing capabilities, anticipating customer needs, and innovating for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance services.
  • Engage in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
