  • Effectively coordinate with project team members and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality service.

To thrive as a Lead Cloud Engineer at Danfoss, you will be tasked with ensuring reliable, scalable, and adaptable solutions. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the technical infrastructure of the cloud environment. With a collaborative approach, you will actively support and inspire the technical engineering team to drive significant technical advancements. Additionally, you will excel in translating requests into actionable outcomes by skillfully analyzing requirements and creatively identifying solutions to fulfill them, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Mentoring, planning, and guiding team contributions.
  • Providing centralized cloud governance and consulting services to the organization.
  • Driving cloud adoption across the organization and institutionalizing best practices from a technical perspective.
  • Offering technical consulting support to application architects to ensure alignment with overarching design principles.
  • Developing infrastructure as code templates to facilitate automated deployment of cloud resources.
  • Documenting cloud environments and supplying appropriate runbooks for the Cloud Operations teams.
  • Maintaining the cloud service catalog with the latest technology stacks and features.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
  • Monitoring and optimizing performance with a focus on enhancing capabilities, anticipating customer needs, and innovating for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with development teams to enhance services.
  • Engaging in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
