Job Title: Commodity Management Expert

Celestica is seeking a highly skilled Commodity Management Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management team, you will be responsible for managing and advising regional commodity teams on the allocation of constrained commodities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify supply vs demand profiles for allocated products and communicate allocation to stakeholders.
  • Resolve critical shortages and work with senior executives of suppliers to increase support.
  • Consolidate and report customer service or revenue impacting items.
  • Manage team for establishing rapid component sourcing for new program introduction and inter-site product transfers.
  • Develop new strategic processes, systems, and toolsets to facilitate sourcing while maintaining controls.
  • Directly manage a group of SCM employees or managers.
  • Maintain responsibility for employee training, performance, measurement, development, motivation, and recognition.
  • Establish department goals and measurements and manage resources to achieve goals.
  • Drive continuous improvements of SCM function through interactions with other departments.

Requirements:

  • Seven to ten years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Commerce or Engineering), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
