About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team at F5. As a trusted advisor, you will provide critical guidance to our customers as they migrate to modular and containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple technology challenges, prioritizing by customer and business needs.
  • Provide expert support for our core products, including container platforms, REST APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Product Development on new leading-edge products and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our products, sub-systems, and other technologies to drive customer success.
  • Communicate complex technical topics to customers, peers, and non-technical personnel in an influential and understandable manner.
Requirements
  • Hold a BS in Computer Sciences (or related degree) or showcase equivalent experience.
  • Provide at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong working experience with container platforms, troubleshooting REST APIs, scripting and/or automation, cloud platforms, and shell environments.
  • Familiarity with proxy servers, system tools, and a wide variety of networking topics.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently, including technical concepts and terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • KCS Practices certification a plus.
Work Environment

Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties may require being on-call periodically and working outside normal working hours (holidays, evenings, and/or weekends). Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, up to 10% of time.
