About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Technology Consultant to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for conducting root cause analyses of major incidents and implementing permanent fixes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into major incidents to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Presentation of findings to senior management and driving weekly status review meetings.
- Planning, setup, implementation, and operation of SAP technologies to achieve ambitious service level agreements (SLAs).
- Documentation of technical operational concepts and guidelines for implemented SAP landscapes and knowledge sharing with the team.
- Drive top issues and improvement initiatives.
- Cross-functional collaboration with international teams in global projects, root cause analysis, and de-escalation initiatives.
- Leading war rooms for critical escalations.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or Technology from a reputable institution/university.
- SAP NetWeaver Certified Technology Consultant preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
- Experience working in international environments and virtual teams.
- Excellent technical documentation skills and creation of knowledge-based assets (KBAs).
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
- Expert-grade communication and networking skills.
- Ability to work during Mexico working hours.
- 10+ years of work experience in Basis/NetWeaver/Business Objects, UNIX/Linux environment, HANA DB, Sybase ASE, DB2 databases, and good knowledge of Network and Storage.
- Intermediate knowledge of one or more products: Content Server, Convergent Charging, MDM, GK Software, OpenText, SAP Cloud Connector, TOMCAT, IIS, IDM, SCM Optimizer, SAP Mobile Platform, TREX, Business Connector.
- Exposure to ITIL framework and experience safeguarding customer relationships.
- Professional-level oral and written communication in English.
