As a Technical Support Specialist at Trane Technologies, you will play a crucial role in providing expert technical guidance to dealers and customers on Thermo King products. Your primary responsibility will be to support dealers and customers on technical subjects in person or remotely, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to operate and maintain our products effectively.
Additionally, you will be responsible for training dealers' and customers' technicians on Thermo King products knowledge to help their development. This will involve staying connected to Thermo King engineering, training, quality, and warranty teams, bringing issues in the field and quality matters to their attention, and giving feedback to the dealers and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical consult to customers and dealers
- Training the technicians of the dealers and customers in their area under your responsibility
- Auditing dealer network to ensure their improvement
- Defining new areas in which Thermo King should have new dealers' locations to better support our customers
- Resolving technical problems and responding to dealers' inquiries
- Proposing improvements to Thermo King products and coordinating the implementation of these improvements to improve equipment reliability
Qualifications include:
- Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge in refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese is an advantage
