About the Role:
The Cash Management Sales Officer is a key professional role within Citi's Commercial and Business Sales team. This position requires a developing professional who can deal with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of industry standards and practices, as well as the ability to integrate in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct sales support to Treasury Consultants in covered markets, focusing on revenue-generating activities associated with the sale of Treasury Products and Services.
- Prepare proposals and pricing analysis, assist with RFPs and presentations, coordinate credit approvals and exception pricing, and coordinate data input for tracking pipeline and activity.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Treasury Consultants and Bankers that are directly supported.
- Provide coverage on product sales-related inquiries from Treasury Sales, Bankers, other internal partners, and clients.
- Join Treasury Consultants on in-person sales calls or conference calls when appropriate.
- Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of commercial banking or relevant experience.
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, Chinese (desired).
- Experience with sales of Host-to-host connectivity, liquidity management, payments, collections, corporate credit cards, and trade solutions.
