Quality Section Manager

As a Quality Section Manager at Jabil, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the Quality Engineering section to achieve excellence in all endeavors.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and maintain a high-caliber workforce to meet business needs.
- Develop and motivate team members to perform at their best, providing direct and timely feedback.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Quality Engineering activities and their impact on process yields and efficiencies.
- Provide support to ensure corrective and preventative measures are taken and implemented in a timely manner.
- Evaluate and schedule training programs for Quality Engineering staff.
- Ensure plant-wide ESD Controls and Product Regulatory requirements are established, monitored, and maintained.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and read and understand visual aids.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
