Technical Sales Manager Role Overview

This esteemed Technical Sales Manager position offers a unique opportunity to lead and drive sales strategies across Latin America, aligning with the company's mission to meet growing energy demands while ensuring a protected climate.

About the Job:

As a key member of the Sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales process from initial customer contact to contract signing and handover. This involves collaborating closely with regional Business Development and proposal teams to identify, pursue, and capitalize on new opportunities that best meet customer needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business targets and maximize revenue growth in the industrial power segment.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize sales projects, ensuring timely closure and accurate internal reporting.
  • Promote Siemens Energy's solutions and products through presentations and demonstrations, effectively communicating their value proposition to customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, leveraging your expertise to deliver tailored solutions that address their unique challenges and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive strategic decision-making and innovative sales approaches.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of progressive Business Development/Sales/Proposal experience within the AE, EPC, or Power Generation industry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) business communications skills, including oral, written, and presentation capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, marketing, and sales strategy execution, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
