Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Customer Care Expert to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our customer-facing department, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding service to our customers by answering their questions, handling complaints, and troubleshooting problems with our products and services.

About the Role

The Customer Care Expert will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound or outbound calls, creating a positive experience for each customer through active listening, addressing all questions or complaints efficiently, and providing accurate responses. This role requires building lasting relationships with customers and other team members based on trust and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Answering or making calls to customers to learn about and address their needs, complaints, or other issues with products or services.
  2. Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining practical solutions, and ensuring that clients feel supported and valued.
  3. Engaging in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry customers, as needed.
  4. Building lasting relationships with customers and other team members based on trust and reliability.
  5. Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.
  6. Understanding and striving to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service.
  7. Making sales or recommendations for products or services that suit client needs better.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.
  • Understanding of company products, services, and policies.
  • Proficiency with computers and strong typing skills.
  • Ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations.
  • Strong time management and decision-making skills.
  • Adaptability and accountability to build a career within the company.
  • Fluency in multiple languages may be desired.
  • Schedule availability.
