About the Role

We're seeking a skilled UX Researcher to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a UX Researcher, you'll play a critical role in helping us define tomorrow's transportation by conducting rigorous research with end-users and educating cross-functional product teams on research methods.

Responsibilities
  • Manage research projects with minimal supervision, weighing the merits of various research methods for a given problem.
  • Conduct mixed-methods user research and testing of concept-stage and in-progress design work, as well as formulate research plans with other departments.
  • Transform amorphous requests for research into rigorous project plans, recognizing and analyzing user experience issues without introducing bias.
  • Engage internal and external research participants through recruitment, screening, study moderation, and compensation.
  • Generate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to produce insights for product teams.
  • Develop effective research presentations and reports to communicate results and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX Research or an equivalent amount of experience in a similar role dealing with human insights
  • Strong collaboration, verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to create structure in an ambiguous environment
  • Familiar with UX Design best practices and principles
  • Experience working with UX Research tools such as Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, and User Interviews is a plus
