• Supervise and manage a team of up to 15 collectors and support staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they meet performance goals and service levels.
• Utilize expert negotiation skills to resolve escalated calls and ensure timely resolution of complex problems.
• Manage the integrity and confidentiality of recorded information within computerized collection systems.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve team performance and efficiency.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for assigned personnel.
• Evaluate subordinate performance and make recommendations for promotions, pay increases, and terminations.
• Ensure the quality of tasks provided by self and others on the team, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and drive results.
**Requirements**:
• 0-2 years of experience in a related role with limited experience in people management.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of collections and customer service principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel.
• Ability to interpret and analyze collection metrics.
