Customer Service and Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service and Operations Coordinator to join our team at FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division.
**Job Summary:**
This role involves coordinating front-line operations, administrative tasks, and customer service activities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities:
• Coordinate operational tasks, including data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities, and local customer service.
• Assist customers with tracing packages, answering questions regarding FedEx products and services, and providing over-the-counter service.
• Prepare various operations reports, type or otherwise.
• Maintain and audit records and files as assigned.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to Station Ops. Manager.
• Check packages for proper labeling, legality of content, including weight and size, proper wrapping, insurance values, special requirements for hazardous material shipment, and compliance with Customs documentation required at destination.
• Interface with customers on customs-related issues.
• Handle customers with packages in cage.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance of the workplace/front counter, self, and uniform.
• Recognize new customers or additional business opportunities and offer suitable services and solutions.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
**Requirements:**
• High School Degree/Equivalent.
• Proficiency in English (600 TOEIC points).
• Previous clerical or customer service experience in a service environment or eighteen (18) months experience as a Service Agent.
• Good general office skills, including light typing, filing, and computer literacy.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and human relations skills.
• Ability to successfully complete the Reading, Listening, Sorting, and math sections of the Basic Skills Test.
• Clear and articulate speaking voice.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver any single package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Clean cut and neat appearance.
**Salary:** $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
