**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Analyst to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the entire billing process, from creating invoices to ensuring timely and accurate payment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the creation and distribution of invoices to clients, as well as uploads to third-party portals.
  • Consolidate and verify invoices for accuracy and timeliness, working closely with Order Management, Inventory, and Customer Support teams.
  • Ensure billing consistency by cross-checking orders and invoices against contracted terms.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation for billing processes, adhering to SOX and internal controls.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide expert-level reporting on billing-related metrics, including UBR and process updates.
  • Verify internal controls to ensure consistency and standardization.
  • Perform error analysis and implement corrective actions.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Advanced English skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Over 1/3 years of experience in billing, preferably in a shared services or F&A environment.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and Sales Force, with a strong understanding of commercial terms in customer agreements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
