About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a Pricing Specialist to join our team at ZF, where you will play a key role in coordinating pricing approaches in the Control Systems category. As a Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for regional pricing execution, leading pricing strategies, and ensuring optimal competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Price Execution: Execute pricing frameworks defined within the region, collaborating with global pricing, category managers, and finance.
  2. Pricing Strategies: Define pricing strategies in the region to ensure optimum competitiveness aligned with market needs.
  3. GM Management: Ensure Gross Margin (GM) through price adjustments, engaging with teams such as category managers, purchasing, sales, finance, and marketing.
  4. Compliance: Comply with central global pricing guidelines and processes.
  5. Pricing Performance: Create transparency about pricing performance (SPV, Sales, margin development, etc.).
  6. Price Compliance: Monitor and control price compliance to price corridors and price harmonization.
  7. Documentation: Create documentation (instructions, guidelines, process descriptions, templates) of relevant processes (Tender, price rounds, price change process, etc.).
  8. Pricing Inbox Management: Manage pricing inbox and respond to internal and external customer pricing requests.
  9. Data Provision: Provide the pricing team with accurate data from multiple sources including SAP, Cognos, Prima, and Salesforce.
  10. Competitive Pricing: Coordinate the collection of competitive pricing and maintain a database of the data.
  11. Commercial Excellence: Support NA Commercial Excellence initiatives deployment as needed.

Requirements:

  • Pricing Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SAP.
  • Pricing Skills: Strong pricing, analytic, and influencing skills.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Insight Generation: Able to translate findings into clear actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Target Management: Rigor in managing targets.
  • Collaboration: Fostering collaboration and empowerment.
  • Data-Driven: Analytical, data-driven mindset.

Preferred Experience:

  • Manufacturing or Automobile Industry: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Pricing Approach in Control Systems: 5 years (Preferred)
  • SAP Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
