About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Pricing Specialist to join our team at Avantor. As a key member of our pricing operations team, you will be responsible for the completion of tender and quotation requests, ensuring that all customer requirements are met in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract pricing information from various sources, including SAP, databases, and internal systems.
  • Responsible for creating customer conditions in ERP systems, adhering to set policies and procedures.
  • Schedule and prepare reports as required, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication.
  • Ensure tasks and reports are delivered on time and in a clear and concise format.
  • Effective communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations when handling sensitive information.
  • Work on various process documentations, including review, update, edit, and translation.
  • Identify root causes and implement action plans for control, rigorously evaluating the effect of implemented changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and SharePoint.
  • Intermediate knowledge in MS Access is an added advantage.
  • Ability to think analytically, with critical thinking skills and quantitative skills.
  • Support quality audits and knowledge in ISO documentation.
  • Ability to handle training and a natural aptitude for numbers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and business acumen.
  • Customer-centric and an ambitious person attitude.
  • Manage time and priorities, set timelines, coordinate tasks for yourself and with others.
  • Apply teamwork skills to a range of situations and ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
  • Associates need to be eager to learn and consistently improve their knowledge.
  • Ability to think creatively to advance innovation.
  • Develops better, faster, or less expensive ways to do things.

Working Environment:

Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
