About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SCM Category Leader to join our team at Bayer. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of supply chain strategies that drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the supply chain team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Category Management: Develop and execute category management strategies that optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams, as well as external stakeholders, such as customers and suppliers.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, to inform supply chain decisions.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve supply chain issues, and make sound decisions that drive business results.
Requirements
  • Supply Chain Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on category management and leadership.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to understand and analyze business data, and make informed decisions that drive business results.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems, including SAP and other relevant tools.
