This position is based in our office and includes a hybrid work schedule, requiring at least three days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Initiate and coordinate the processing of sales orders. Monitor the sales order system to ensure accurate receipt and booking of orders. Track sales shipments, deliveries, billing, and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports as needed. Address inquiries regarding order status and resolve customer order issues. Prepare pricing and proposals for identified sales opportunities. Ensure timely and consistent completion of all quotes.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in order entry, or 3 years in general office, accounting, or customer service roles. Ability to comprehend technical and complex solutions and products is highly valued. Must demonstrate professionalism and reliability, capable of handling inquiries from both internal and external customers, with a keen attention to detail in data entry, and a proven ability to troubleshoot effectively. Strong communication skills and business etiquette are essential, along with the ability to multitask and take initiative, demonstrating a customer-first approach. Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is necessary. Familiarity with Quantum products is advantageous. Understanding of secondary storage (backup and archival) is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle ERP, or similar systems is beneficial.

Ability to sit for extended periods. Capacity to engage in telephone communication for prolonged durations. Proficiency in typing with attention to detail. Ability to accept constructive criticism and interact courteously with customers. Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Skill in effectively managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and demands. Willingness to work overtime during peak periods throughout the year.
