Regional Payroll Service Transition Lead

As a key member of the Copeland team, you will play a crucial role in planning and implementing large-scale transition efforts for regional payrolls and time & attendance programs.

Working closely with vendors and cross-business teams across Latam, you will develop and implement efficient payroll and time & attendance solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Lead the regional payroll service transition planning and serve as the Copeland business voice for quality delivery of multiple payroll processes, time & attendance, and related services for various countries in the region.

Define immediate and future support needs, service models, and operational frameworks for the Copeland business during the transition.

Provide leadership for the transitional team during the interim transitional period and manage transitional payroll queries from vendors, transition teams, employees, managers, and HRMs in a timely and professional manner.

Administer transitional payroll processes correctly and manage service delivery metrics in relation to outsourced payroll.

Oversee the management transition of documentation and communication of regional payroll programs, policies, and procedures.

Manage the payroll transitional planning process in conjunction with third-party providers, including the calculation of wages, deductions, and payment of employees' wages.

Ensure appropriate definition of payroll schedules, reconciliations, special processing planning, and documentation of business and local requirements.

Monitor regional markets for regulatory and local practice changes in labor law that may affect payroll processes.

Manage transitional planning for regional market employee records, such as tax documents and employee files, for transitional purposes.

Oversee and review preparation of reconciliation and reports for transitional purposes.

**Requirements:**

Bachelor's degree in finance, administration, accountability, or a similar field.

5 years of experience in payroll processes, HR, benefits, payroll systems, and ERP implementations and support.

Experience in payroll & benefits system administration and implementation, payroll concepts knowledge, and calculations according to law across Latam.

Leadership skills, with the ability to lead people remotely.

Advance English language skills, with Portuguese being preferable.
