Sales Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer - Injection Systems Specialist to join our team at Hillenbrand, a global leader in the manufacture, distribution, and service of highly engineered and customized systems within the $27 billion plastic technology and processing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales of technical products within the plastic industry, business development, or account management within plastics or related markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute sales strategies and plans provided by the company to achieve revenue targets for our products and related projects in the assigned region.
- Identify and prioritize key target markets and segments within the industry and implement focused sales initiatives to capture market share and drive growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, and engineering & procurement contractors.
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting and tracking sales performance and reporting on key metrics to senior management.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies, profitability targets, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with project management and process engineering teams from HQ to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and expand the company's network within the region.
- Travel within the region and abroad as required, with a minimum of 80% travel.
