About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic human resource initiatives and contribute to the success of syncreon America Inc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement human resource strategies to support business objectives, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts, designing and executing cost-effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent and build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement effective communication, rewards, and employee relations programs, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values.
  • Oversee labor relations activities, including agreement negotiations, arbitrations, grievances, and union relationships, ensuring effective management of employee relations.
  • Partner with the global Human Resources team and corporate legal staff to address associate-related legal issues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Design and implement human resource development programs for the region, working closely with the global HR team to ensure effective talent development and succession planning.
  • Support the global Human Resources strategy and functional business plans by developing, implementing, and monitoring human resource planning processes, ensuring leadership continuity and a continued supply of high-talent team members.
  • Continuously review management strengths and weaknesses, identifying specific skills required for leadership development and succession planning.
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of key Human Resources issues and methods, coaching and training managers and staff in key areas.
  • Ensure the effective use of syncreon's global HRIS system, participating in and supporting the company's safety strategies to ensure employee safety and reduce workers' compensation costs.
  • Provide key HR metrics to functional executives, enabling them to effectively manage the organization.

Requirements

  • BA in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; MA preferred. HR Certificate preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.
  • Extensive experience in Human Resources in progressively senior roles required.
  • Proven expertise in working with senior-level executives, driving results, and having strong influencing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate across multiple functions, cultures, and levels within the organization.
  • Experience managing HR Managers in global locations.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing locally.
  • Willingness to be hands-on when required to execute plans.
  • Ability to promptly translate business needs into pragmatic solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to manage and contain employment-related costs.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage employee relations.
  • Relevant knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel internationally, with experience in Mexico, California, and Texas.

Compensation

DP World offers a market-competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $128,700.00-$150,000.00 USD, depending on location and experience.

This position may be eligible for short-term incentives or sales compensation.
