Strategic Labor Relations Director

We are seeking a Strategic Labor Relations Director to join our team in Juarez, Mexico. This role will be responsible for delivering Employee Relations and Labor Relations Services within a country or cluster of countries.
About the RoleThis is a key leadership position that requires strong Labor Relations and change management background. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing operational activities to achieve target key performance indicators, operational level agreements, and service levels.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in conducting collective bargaining agreement negotiations and contract administration, as well as ensuring timely and compliant handling of all assigned grievance, discipline, and policy interpretation requests.
A strong leader with understanding and appreciation for regional differences, the Strategic Labor Relations Director will be responsible for developing ER/LR policies for a region or a country, attending hearings at Courts, the Ministry of Labor, and other government agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage assigned operational activities to achieve target key performance indicators, operational level agreements, and service levels.
- Conduct collective bargaining agreement negotiations and contract administration.
- Ensure timely and compliant handling of all assigned grievance, discipline, and policy interpretation requests.
- Develop ER/LR policies for a region or a country.
- Attend hearings at Courts, the Ministry of Labor, and other government agencies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 6 years progressive HR experience with a concentration in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and HR broad experience researching, investigating, and addressing employee misconduct and below job performance standards.
- Strong Labor Relations and change management background.
- Strong leadership skills; operates as a global leader with understanding and appreciation for regional differences.
