A consultancy practice has partnered with a start-up company to find a Commercial Leader who can contribute to the creation of a new business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can drive growth.

We are seeking a highly ambitious Commercial Director to join our team. As a Commercial Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies that align with our company's targets and objectives, with the primary goal of supporting and accelerating growth.

Your role will be crucial to our success, and we expect you to have an entrepreneurial mindset and serve as a role model for your team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, plan, and implement commercial plans and strategies
  • Accelerate and encourage company growth and success
  • Perform market research and analyze threats and opportunities
  • Implement customer acquisition and go-to-market strategies
  • Establish and manage long-term relationships with stakeholders
  • Continuously assess the requirements of new and existing customers
  • Track, measure, and analyze commercial metrics using KPIs
  • Manage and track expenditures, financial goals, and budgets
Requirements:
  • Willingness to work in a start-up environment
  • Previous experience as a commercial or marketing director for +10 years
  • In-depth knowledge of market analysis and metrics
  • Hands-on experience in creating and managing go-to-market strategies
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills - capable of building and managing teams
  • MA in business administration, finance, or a similar relevant field
