About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Director, Mexico to join our team at Trisept Solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for the Mexican market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Mexican market, identifying and prioritizing target sub-markets and customer segments.
  • Set sales targets and objectives aligned with the company's overall business goals, influencing MICE strategy in close collaboration with HSF M&E Mexico.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Mexican sales team, recruiting, training, and developing sales talent.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback, analyzing competitor activity and market trends.
  • Develop strategies to capture new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and B2B partners.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention, addressing and resolving customer issues and complaints.
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets in all segments, including Direct B2C, MICE, FIT, Leisure groups & Romance.
  • Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively, monitoring and reporting on sales performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, PR & Communications and customer support, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Communicate sales strategies, progress, and results to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Hospitality or similar, Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as Sales Director in a similar senior leadership role, with extensive knowledge of the Mexican market and business practices.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in performance tools, business platforms, and social media.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills, with the ability to achieve defined objectives and sales strategies with minimum supervision.
  • Attention to detail, proactive, self-motivated, and good organization.
