Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Program and Event Specialist to join our team at EPAM.

This role involves managing the production and execution of large-scale events while developing processes to measure their impact effectively. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of event planning and management are handled efficiently and will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver successful program experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Event Tracking Processes: Develop processes for consistently tracking and measuring the impact of program experiences and reporting outcomes to key stakeholders.
  • Manage Event Production: Manage full event production including venue management, catering, transportation, and more.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Drive the creation of post-event reports and conduct retrospectives to identify areas for improvement.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Interact with and manage multiple vendors and partners to plan and execute medium and large-scale events.
  • Program Knowledge and Adaptability: Maintain a working knowledge of the complex needs of different programs and adapt strategies accordingly.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education: 5+ years of experience in program/project management or a Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field.
  • Event Management Experience: 3+ years of experience in event management for large-scale events, ideally within the developer communities/IT industry.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Highly focused and organized, able to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Capability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Strong skills in building, tracking, and formulating within Google Sheets. Fluent English communication skills at a C1 level.
Nice to Have
  • Developer Relations Experience: Knowledge of the developer relations space, particularly Android, and prior experience with developer communities.
  • Strategic Thinking and Adaptability: Ability to strategize at a high level and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Data Analysis and Automation: Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards, analyzing data, and automating processes.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 10% within the US and work flexible hours to support regional events.
