Customer Service Specialist III

Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Specialist III, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers in the Plumbing and Heating industry. You will be responsible for administering sales orders, processing returns and credits, and providing professional alternative solutions to customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work in a high-volume call center, processing multiple sales orders and returns while ensuring efficient order handling and accurate processing methods.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries regarding pricing, product information, deliveries, and shipping.
• Resolve complaints regarding product shortages, providing professional alternative solutions.
• Process requests for returns and credits, tracing shipments and providing Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
• Investigate and verify order holds related to credit problems, pricing discrepancies, shipping issues, and part identification problems.
• Guide communication between customers and our manufacturing/shipping departments to ensure pending orders ship out.
Requirements:
• 5+ years' experience in a high-call-volume customer service department.
• Experience handling support requests from various channels.
• Experience assessing severity of support requests and escalating based on severity.
• Previous exposure to the Plumbing and Heating industry.
• Computer literacy and solid exposure to ERP systems.
• Experience interpreting and responding to customer questions and requests.
• English bilingual.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environments. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
