About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Global Chapter for Intelligent Workplace. As a key member of our Innovation Capability Center (ICC) Leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the digital transformation of our organization, focusing on the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Digital Strategy: Provide vision and leadership for the Global Chapter, defining specific capabilities, roles, and skills required to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead Global Chapter Team: Manage a team of local Chapter Leads or subchapter Leads, translating digital strategy into successful programs and implementing solutions for the Digital Workplace domain.
  • Coordinate Portfolio Planning: Plan, initiate, and monitor the portfolio at various levels of completion, identifying opportunities for process improvement and resource optimization.
  • Drive Cross-Chapter Initiatives: Focus on operational excellence, driving cross-chapter initiatives and collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Resource Allocation and Planning: Plan resource allocation and identify new upcoming demand in partnership with Takeda's Global Digital, Data & Tech (GDD&T) colleagues, ICC Heads, and Global Chapter Leads.
  • Expertise Development: Work with tech domain specialists to develop their expertise, skills, and knowledge in the Intelligent Workplace area.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage proactively, collaborate, and negotiate with key stakeholders across Takeda's organization.
  • Delivery Progress Review: Review delivery progress and collaborate with GDD&T leaders and ICC colleagues to solve any issues or concerns that need to be addressed.
  • Risk Management: Assess and balance the resourcing needs of the Global pods, establishing and communicating calendars for Iterations and quarterly delivery plans.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with global ICC Delivery and Operations teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness across ICC processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience managing complex portfolios, global engineering teams, and/or end-to-end digital initiatives in the employee experience technology domain, with a particular emphasis on implementing, monitoring the operation, and evolving solutions such as Microsoft Office, Automation (Power), and AI capabilities (Co-Pilot), Service Now, Backend/FrontEnd development, Mobile OS (Android or IOS), and other relevant digital workplace technologies.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate with Director and Senior Director level partners and stakeholders.
