Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Reckitt. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our e-commerce and Hygiene and Home business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tell the story behind the data, providing financial intelligence to inform critical business decisions
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting
  • Support our planning cycle, collaborate with other finance teams, and manage compliance and controls projects
  • Comply with our Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment Policy, committed to delivering high-quality products, minimizing our environmental impact, and ensuring the health and safety of our employees and visitors
  • Monthly reporting: Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of account balances, timely and complete supply reporting, and proper analysis of variances
  • Focus on costs and variances, efficiencies, inventory levels, and project follow-up
  • Plan and forecast process: Timely calculation and dissemination of product costs, analysis of main variances, and preparation of requested reporting schedules
  • Cost/Transfer Price: Prepare costs at project initiation, calculate and inform responsible parties of changes, review and control commitments, and provide timely transfer price changes
  • Inventory: Review and control raw and packaging materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, coordination and control of regular stock counts and reconciliation with shelter providers
  • Squeeze reporting: Calculate proposed savings for the Squeeze database, regular follow-up of reported savings with actual costs development, and periodic reconciliation of planned squeeze savings with actuals

Requirements:

  • BA in Accounting or Finance, MBA a plus, CPA strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of finance/accounting experience, including 2-3 years in a plant environment
  • Strong financial analysis skills, ability to work independently, and self-motivation
  • Strong computer skills, preferably knowledge of JD Edwards ERP System
  • Experience in fast-moving consumer goods/pharmaceutical organizations an added advantage
