About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Business Developer to join our team. As a Global Business Developer, you will play a key role in helping Mexican merchants expand their business into the US marketplace and recruit new merchants from top export categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the executive teams of prospective accounts, as well as internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.
  • Develop a sales pipeline mix of high-value and transactional accounts, recruit and launch businesses to sell their products in Amazon US, and manage the portfolio to grow their sales.
  • Provide business insights, training, support, and seller education to ensure the success of assigned sellers.
  • Analyze customer data and make recommendations to maximize the potential of assigned sellers.
  • Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your territory.
  • Prospect and close business to achieve quarterly quota targets for both the quantity and quality of sellers recruited.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of sales or marketing work, preferably in e-commerce, retail technology, or SaaS.
  • Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
