Document Support Specialist

The Document Support Specialist 4 performs moderately complex and varied assignments. Most of the impact is related to quality of execution. Works with limited supervision. May service an expansive array of products/services. Demonstrates technical/administrative expertise. Applies specialized functional area skills and basic knowledge including underlying professional/technical principles or standards. The technical procedures for this level are well defined. Understands how duties relate with others in the team/unit and how the unit integrates with others in accomplishing the work of the function. Exchanges moderately complex information with others. There may be occasional handling of awkward contacts. Basic knowledge of the organization and its policies required. Applies research, information gathering and analysis skills to factual information. Applies judgment based on practice and precedence. Selects the best course of action from a broad array of defined options, understanding the consequences of each.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Individuals in this job family are involved in providing day-to-day operational support to an aligned business. Activities include implementation support, administrative and operations coordination for the various products, programs and services offered by the business. Serve as liaisons between operations staff, product managers, relationship managers, portfolio managers, custodians, and clients. Supports activities dealing with record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval, account opening, imaging and administering/maintaining client accounts. Follows established procedures to complete complex assignments under limited supervision. Assists in resolving problems that require minimal investigation or research. May have direct interaction with Senior managers, to disseminate or explain information. Trains new hires within work unit. Duties include Workflow Management and interaction with other departments, as well as basic analysis and research.
**Requirements:**
1-3 years relevant experience. Demonstrates technical/administrative expertise. Understands how duties relate with others in the team/unit and how the unit integrates with others in accomplishing the work of the function
**Education:**
High School diploma or equivalent. This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
**Job Function Context:
The role requires a general understanding of the check validation process for SBC (Salvo buen cobro) and Citibanamex, allowing the employee to perform:
Check security measure validations for Citibanamex and SBC. Client signature and account management instruction validations. Officer signature validations for cash checks and certificates. Application of charges for returned items to client accounts for Citibanamex.
**Job Requirements:**
Desirable review of documentation/policies. Availability to work two shifts. Work hours from 8 am to 5 pm or 2 pm to 11 pm.
