IT Operations Manager

As an IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for identifying global opportunities to standardize and optimize user experience, leveraging global sourcing strategies. You will design exceptional user experiences using innovative technologies and global sourcing strategies, driving consistent results through effective metrics-based management of global vendor operations and managing internal and external resources to deliver outstanding global operations.
You will review and report on key operational metrics with key stakeholders, ensuring effective and timely escalation processes are used in case of SLA non-compliance. Additionally, you will eliminate reoccurrence of systemic issues in digital workspace experience solutions using data-driven approaches to make high-quality decisions and improve overall quality.
You will also identify and deliver projects working with global suppliers and Deere team members, participating in major incident response and VIP issues globally to ensure efficient and effective restoration of services even in ambiguous situations.
What Skills You Need- 7+ years of extensive technical knowledge and background across a wide breadth of IT systems and technologies
- 3+ years of experience in leading delivery of global-scale IT solutions
- 3+ years of experience in managing large projects/programs
- Proven experience in leveraging data and insights to identify and implement systemic improvements
- Proven experience providing constructive performance feedback, managing organizational budget, people, and processes
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation
- Building effective and meaningful relationships across different stakeholders to gain trust and understand business needs
- Ability to lead change and adept at getting buy-in for change based upon seeking what is best for the entire company
- Experience in deploying and maintaining digital workspace experience solutions
- Fundamental understanding of AI/ML and working experience with GenAI
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology discipline OR Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience (10+ years applied engineering experience)
