**Accounting Manager Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end files, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, accruals, and analysis for the Colombian entity.
  • Support the preparation of detailed monthly variance analysis on expenses.
  • Perform gross profit analysis and resolve inconsistencies and issues in the financial reporting process.
  • Provide guidance and support to financial analysts in the month-end closing process.
  • Prepare general ledger analysis and reconciliations.
  • Review detailed monthly financial reports.
  • Perform various financial analysis requested by upper management.
  • Assist with the processing and submission of invoices through the PO management system.
  • Oversee VAT compliance and ensure adequate recording in the general ledger.
  • Oversee Colombian Tax compliance on a regular basis and communicate tasks with the Director of Global Tax.
  • Oversee the financial systems to ensure that financial information is maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Participate in financial and external audits.
  • Maintain relationships and communicate with external accountants, consultants, and auditors.
  • Assist with annual forecasting and budgeting.
  • Answer ad hoc requests from management.
  • Support operations and sales staff for ad hoc requests.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in Accounting, Taxes, Business, or Finance; postgraduate studies in taxes will be a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a general accounting role, experience in logistics will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen.
  • Ability to think strategically and strong skills to drive business initiatives end-to-end and deliver insights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, evolving environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in interpreting the Company's policies and objectives.
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office (specifically Microsoft Excel).
