Key Responsibilities- Manage facilities projects, including identifying requirements, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Provide leadership and management of construction and renovation projects, ensuring good communication and liaison between internal customers and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, including ISO 14001 standards.
- Conduct site risk assessments and evaluations, recommending measures for control of hazardous conditions.
- Investigate ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, and other conditions affecting employee health, comfort, or efficiency.
- Prepare reports, including observations, analysis of contaminants, and recommendations for control and correction of hazards.
- Track and interpret regulations to ensure compliance.
- Work with Occupational Health Nurse and Consulting Physician to institute biological monitoring for potentially hazardous conditions and equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of facilities management and operations.
- Understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations, programs (local and government), including ISO 14001 requirements.
- Good organization and project management skills.
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems.
- Ability to gather and analyze data and determine root cause of problems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external customers.
Typical experience: Two to Four years relevant experience. Typical education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
