About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Subchapter Lead to join our team at Takeda's Innovation Capability Center in Mexico. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the process of implementing changes within our organization, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organizational Change Management
    • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Organizational Change Management (OCM) to the subchapter team members and provide advisory to the allocated business functions.
    • Monitor and manage the implementation of OCM initiatives coming from Takeda, whilst managing the workload and building appropriate skills and capabilities of the chapter members.
  • Communications and Content Design
    • Lead the Communications and Content Design teams to leverage appropriate media to deliver best-in-class communications, and ensure the communication activities are aligned to the Takeda's brand guidelines and delivered to the highest standards.
    • Ensure digital content creation is aligned with the organization strategy, narrative and objectives.
  • Subchapter Development
    • Work closely with the Global Chapter lead to provide the vision and lead the Subchapter capabilities build-out.
    • Cooperate closely with other Global Subchapter Leads within the chapter to ensure consistency in the procedures subchapter wide.
  • Talent Development
    • Foster close cooperation across all chapter members and encourage cross-training, knowledge sharing and development.
    • Work with HR and Talent Attraction to define roles, recruit top talent, conduct candidate interviews, and onboard new chapter members.
  • Performance Evaluations
    • Oversee collection of formative and evaluative feedback for each Subchapter member from their network of professional connections.
    • Oversee delivery of performance evaluations for Subchapter members, factoring in individual contributions and collective team performance.

    • Strong strategic thinking and decision making.
    • Has demonstrated success in leading OCM, Communications and Content Design teams and initiatives in a global environment in the technology area.
    • Experience developing and managing high performing teams.

    • Technically strong with proven ability to make sound decisions and lead Organizational Change Management, Communications and Content Design teams.
    • Ability to lead effectively and work concurrently across multiple priorities in a goal-oriented, timeline-driven, and remote management work environment.

    • Drive simplification, innovation and continuous improvement activities while ensuring business continuity and minimal business disruptions.

    • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives applying common frameworks or methodologies such as LEAN, AGILE, or SAFe.
    • Operating in a digital/technology complex and heavily regulated environment.
Education and Experience
  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent.
  • Professional level English written and verbal.
  • 10+ years of experience in building and managing Organizational Change Management, Communications and Content Design teams for technology development/software development organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A higher university degree.
  • Certified Change Management Professional.
  • Experience working with digital content production software such as: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro.
