**Job Summary**

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to manage our global category spend for Electronics and Contract Manufacturing. As a key member of our Global Strategic Sourcing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a category strategy that drives operational excellence and efficiencies.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage global category spend for Electronics and Contract Manufacturing, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and implement a category strategy that optimizes affordability, availability, agility, and innovation, leveraging industry trends and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving performance improvement.
  • Own vendor performance data and report metrics to leadership, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Quality, to align on long-term strategy and technology roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of global supply markets, competitors, and product innovations, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Build and develop a team of Contract Manufacturing experts, driving global performance and excellence.

**Requirements**

  • Conversational English level.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing environment and familiarity with industrial operations.
  • Strategic sourcing experience in Contract Manufacturing.
  • Experience with strategic sourcing and lean tools.
  • Digital dexterity and ability to leverage data.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain strategy (development and execution) and category-specific experience.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership, negotiation, and strategic communication.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, or business.
  • MBA or professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM).
  • Independently driven problem solver with appetite to address complex challenges in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong business acumen and experience collaborating across various levels within a diverse, global organization.
