About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our global team at Brightcove. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer support and technical expertise to our clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze technical trends and recommend product enhancements to improve customer experience.
  • Contribute to our online knowledge database to ensure up-to-date customer information and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Brightcove products and services.
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via various communication channels.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience in a customer-focused technical support role.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Experience with online technical problem-solving and triage.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Understanding of internet technologies, including browsers, networking, firewalls, and proxy servers.
  • Working knowledge of web-based technologies, including HTML, XML, FTP, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with online video and rich media technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Internet Networking processes.
