Service Account Representative

As a key member of our team at Alkegen, you will play a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers in Mexico and beyond. The Service Account Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support to meet their needs. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders and inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and commercial partners, providing proactive support and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including warehouses and manufacturing groups, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and resolution of any issues that may arise.
  • Utilize knowledge of products, product availability, and sales territories to provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Work closely with Logistics to expedite delivery of orders and ensure timely communication with customers.
  • Monitor order activity and alert stakeholders to potential delivery problems, taking proactive steps to resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of customer service experience in an office setting, with manufacturing company experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US trade compliance, including import and export compliance, ITAR, NAFTA, and other free trade agreements.
  • Excellent communication and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with knowledge of SAP preferred.
