**Job Purpose**

The Compliance and Ethics Senior Manager will provide specialized support and advice to the energy business within ENGIE Mexico, ensuring compliance coverage and managing ethics and regulatory risks. This position will be responsible for monitoring, internal investigation, and reporting on compliance issues in areas such as regulatory codes, internal policies, antifraud, and anticorruption laws.

**Responsibilities and Job Functions**

• Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation, in cooperation with the ethics officer.
• Contribute to the independent investigation of complaints for breach of policies, antifraud, and anticorruption complaints, prepare reports for our partners, and work independently on these matters.
• Provide advice to GBU's and Support Functions within ENGIE regarding compliance and regulatory requirements, monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness, create, implement, coordinate, train, and maintain policies and procedures for compliance infrastructure and controls for ENGIE Mexico, reflecting regulations in Mexico and requirements of ENGIE.
• Coordinate and facilitate internal reviews or investigations to ensure that compliance procedures are followed and, where necessary, enhanced. Provide assistance to internal and external auditors in compliance reviews, if requested, including the certification of the anticorruption systems.
• Develop a system to uniformly handle alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures by evaluating and recommending the initiation of investigative procedures and responding accordingly. Liaise and assist senior management with regulatory reviews, investigations, interpretive requests, and/or disputes.

**Occupational Profile**

Law Degree, Accounting, Criminalist, Psychology, Finance, Industrial Engineer, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant legal, auditing, or compliance experience, with at least 3 years in compliance, preferably in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure industry or governmental agencies. Working knowledge of regulations in Mexico, labor standards, antifraud, and anticorruption laws, and fluent in both Spanish and English. International certification such as prevention of fraud or anticorruption will be considered.
• Experience in auditing internal processes and knowledge of the regulatory framework of the energy sector.
• Work independently but with strong collaboration skills, self-starter, strong ethics, ability to manage various competing priorities with a very heavy workload.
• Proficiency in English.
