We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing Expert to join our team at Ka Group Ag. As a key member of our Purchasing Department, you will play a crucial role in driving cost optimization and supply chain efficiency across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cost analyses for existing products and projects to identify optimization opportunities.
- Generate accurate cost estimates for new product developments, considering material costs, labor hours, processes, and other relevant factors.
- Work with our global suppliers to identify cost-effective sourcing options, analyze risks, and optimize the supply chain.
- Provide transparent cost information and report to management and project teams.
- Initiate and monitor measures for continuous cost reduction, risk mitigation, and efficiency improvement.
- Identify potential cost and logistics risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation using our corporate system for risk assessment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in cost engineering, process engineering, quality, or supplier development, preferably in the automotive industry or similar environment.
- Business fluent English (written and spoken).
- General knowledge about supply chain, manufacturing processes, Siemens TcPCM; Lean Management; SAP.
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in engineering, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
