**Job Title**
Inventory Control Specialist

**Position Purpose**
Responsible for ensuring seamless inventory control throughout the AZ-Mexico supply chain. This involves extracting fixture needs from floorplans and planograms electronically or manually, as required, for new, open, and remodeled stores. The successful candidate will generate store fixtures and signage shipments to new stores and remodel stores via disciplined communication with all fixture suppliers. Additionally, they will review and maintain detailed fixture integrity of all AutoZone prototypes, solving the need for expedited re-orders to Store Set-Up projects when necessary. The Inventory Control Specialist will also coordinate with other departments on fixtures for new planogram auto bills and changes to inventory disposition. Furthermore, they will review and report fixture costs and usage for the entire chain as well as Store Set-Up.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Monitoring, development, and purchase of new fixtures, price changes to new products, and signage.
- Tracking, monitoring, and purchasing signage inventory for new stores, DC, and eliminating discontinued products every quarter.
- Registration of products, vendors, payment to vendors, and capture of invoices for payment to vendors on time, while monitoring budget.
- Ensuring the sending of materials from the distribution center to the stores and generating reports of the materials sent.
- Maintaining attention to stores, merchandise team, and distribution center.

**Education & Experience**
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Industrial Design, Business, International Relationships
Years of Experience: Two to three years.
Type of Experience: Retail, manufacturer,
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Excel, Power point, AutoCAD, Sketchup
Other / Preferred: Analytical skills, computer skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
