About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Global Business Development Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for growing Uber's business through the addition of new customers.

You will be the customer advocate in Uber, owning the inbound lead process and sourcing new companies that would be a great fit for our products. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales Operations, Regional Rides teams, and Business Development.

This is a hybrid role, requiring collaboration both remotely and in-person at our Mexico City office 2-3 days per week. We encourage employees to work from the office on additional days if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue generation through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new businesses.
  • Forecast and manage your sales pipeline via Salesforce CRM.
  • Execute short-term sales strategies while maintaining a long-term vision for sustained success.
  • Develop positive relationships with key clients to generate revenue as new features go-to-market.
  • Wear multiple hats: sales strategy, lead generation, sales rep, and account manager.
  • Identify prospect needs, understand business drivers behind requests, and explain the Uber value proposition.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience with medium-to-large enterprises in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of growing a customer base and consistently exceeding revenue targets and company goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs.
  • Strong use of insights and data-based decision-making to inform the sales process.
  • Problem-solving, adaptability, and ability to grow quickly as we build the sales organization.
  • English proficiency.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on industry standards for similar roles in the United States and Mexico.
