Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Financial Planning and Analysis - Music Royalties to join our team. As a key member of our FP&A team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial analysis and forecasting for Warner Bros. Discovery Studios.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for Warner Bros. Discovery Studios
- Provide regular financial analysis and reporting to business stakeholders
- Identify and analyze trends and drivers of financial performance
- Music Royalties Management
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of music royalties
- Develop and maintain relationships with music industry partners
- Manage music royalty budgets and forecasts
- Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of financial analysts
- Develop and implement training programs for team members
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes
- Develop and maintain financial systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Experience
- At least 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Strong experience in music royalties management
- Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite
