**Job Overview**
Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in delivering and executing HR services to employees and managers in a defined area.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide HR support to a large and/or remote workforce, working autonomously in ambiguous situations and adapting quickly to change.
- Consult on employee relations issues, including corrective actions, policy violations, and performance issues.
- Present HR programs to customer groups and employees, leveraging the full capabilities of the HR organization.
- Support labor relations in union and non-union environments, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Participate in implementation of organization changes and support with change management processes.
- Identify workforce and hiring plans necessary to drive recruiting staff to develop strategy for recruiting top caliber employees.
- Partner with leaders to assess current talent and develop long-term talent strategies that establish required competencies and skill levels.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years Human Resources related experience or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of general HR practices and regulations.
- Ability to handle high volume and complex workload.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
